After graduating from St. Mary's University School of Law in May of 2010, Kent was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 2010. While at St. Mary's Law, Kent was active with the Federalist Society and served as Secretary of this organization. Kent also served in the St. Mary's Civil Justice Clinic where he represented indigent clients in need of legal representation. For his work at the Civil Justice Clinic, Kent was given the Pro Bono Service Award.
Before joining The Field Law Firm, PLLC, Kent worked as a solo practitioner at the Law Office of Kent E. Wymore IV where he handled matters including Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Probate, Wills, and drafting documents for newly formed corporations. Kent also served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Pflugerville, Texas, where he was a part-time Municipal Prosecutor.
Kent also continues to serve, as he did while at St. Mary's Law, as the Chairman of the Hays County Republican Party.
Currently, Kent and his wife, Amy, live in Dripping Springs, Texas, with their two young children, Kent and Isla. Kent enjoys cooking, running, playing basketball, and spending time with his kids.
